60 Ft Peco Tunnel

Just curious on the forums if anyone has Experience with the PECO system and their 60 Ft tunnel - I know small - however thinking the site will most likely not see 65 cars in an hour - maxed out perhaps - I can still do solid volumes with this size tunnel I believe - what have other's experienced?

I used to have a similar length Hanna tunnel. If it meets your volume needs, is not undersized and has the appropriate equipment in in to clean, you should be fine. Can’t speak to Peco specifically, but it’s all just wraps, rockers, mitters and blowers . I was semi - kidding, no matter the brand, you need to be set up to clean efficiently and effectively in the space you have.

Spot free and tire shine are pretty standard fare in modern tunnels, but fortunately don’t take up a ton of space. Tire shine units can sit below your blowers and sfr can be a rain arch. You need to make sure you have enough friction and high pressure component to get the desired result. It also matters if you will be hand prepping or not.

I can see the prep - when you talk about that - presoak up front prior to entering the tunnel.. I want to eliminate any prep / employee drying work at the exit of the tunnel

IMO spot free for a tunnel is a waste of $ because there will likely be moisture trapped in rain Channels and behind moldings and SF won't eliminate issue of spotting from this.

True, but if you are not toweling, the hood, glass, top and trunk will all dry spotless even if some droplets are left. A good sfr will flood most of those rain channels anyway, which are generally lower on the car. -Our biggest area that retains non-sfr water is the side view mirror housings, and that is minimal especially when the rest of the car had dried clear. They do have mirror rinses too if you want to go to that extreme.
