Hello MEP, I'm a little confused on that. My local Goodyear rep says that hose is designed for pressure washing applications. This is the blue hose I'm talking about.

Goodyear Neptune is most definitely designed for water - It uses a synthetic nitrile rubber tube inside which is designed for pressure washing with water not oil.

My mistake, I remembered we used it as hydraulic hose on some machines and had better life with it than specific hydraulic hose, and of course the "Neptune" name indicates for water. I had it stuck in my head that only the cloth-wrapped stuff was made for pressure washers to prevent abrasion.

I'm glad you guys got this figured out. I have been using the Neptune 3000 to replace the "out to bay" hoses as they fail. I've been wondering over the last few days if I had been screwing up.
