ACW credit card post error

We have 2 automatics at one car wash and numerous credit card shut down. The hand held always shows posting error. We had phone line replaced and still have problems. There is a dial tone on each line.
What causes the posting error and how can we get rid of the problem?

I had the same problem. It was a guys discover card causing the problem every time. I just had hamilton set it up to not take discover card anymore.

Make sure you have 2 different posting times for your ACWs if they are sharing a phone line.

Thanks for your help. The records for our ACW's showed that we still have phone line problems. We are going to have the cable company provide our phone service and make sure that all connections are good.
