I want to change my ACW over to dollar coin payout, but Hamilton no longer has loaners during the change over. I'd have to be out almost 2 weeks to get the controller upgraded. Anyone have any better ideas how to do this without giving up 2 weeks of revenue?

I've got a loaner/Rental Autotec ACW controller. It's in Nashville Georgia. I?ve been trying to get him to send it back. Anyone live near Nashville Georgia.

What does it take to change over to dollar change at the ACW's? That sounds like a good idea, and should just be a programming issue.

Randy,
I hope you can get it returned.

Indiana,
Hamilton said it requires a reprogramming and other things, not field servicable. It is about $250 if your controller is of the right vintage, and you have to change out your hopper payout wheel to dollar coins. Hamilton gave me a two week turnaround.

If you have a Goldline ACW it?s only a matter of changing out the Hopper wheel and reprogramming the controller to a $1 payout.

If you have an ACW 4/5 you have to change the software and a few other things. If it?s a newer controller v4.23 you can normally get by with changing the software and the Hopper wheel.
