Adding autos to my self serve

Looking for any pro tips

Im trying to figure out how to predict the extra revenue it will bring in.

i have two locations. Both just self serve 6 bays

one location vbusy. Lines are pretty common, great location, no auto comp near b

other is middle of the road gross 80-90k

first you have to determine your price point. That will largely influence your gross revenue.
One common method for determining cars per year is to use a multiple and your traffic count. You can usually find that online, cars passing by in a 24 hour period. I used 3/10 of one percent.

in the south a well received IBA will gross what 4 to 5 SS bay's will make if there's little competition. @100k in year 1 and 115-130Kfor the next 5 or so then it's time to reinvest or milk it till she drops. Always going to be large capital expenses to consider. just the electric bill on a large dryer system can run 20K a year. But without one many customers will scoff.

Are electric rates in the south super high? I’m in Ohio and my electric is about $.50/car all in and all wash packages include dryers.
