I have 2 IBAs, both on Goldlines & mei. My wash is attended fulltime 6 days/week.
How would you guys do this 50 washes w/ a restaurant, as gifts?

trade for equal face value in gift cards to the restaurant. win win, plus your wife is happy.

I would get some high security tokens and sell them those. Value the token for your best wash. Then you can also use them for refunds when needed.

soonermajic,

I am one of the owners of the Touch4Wash system. You could use the certificate options in Touch4Wash as a cross selling tool. The nice thing here is you do the cross sell, but then end up with a customer signed up to use your services. All integrated in one spot. Let me know if you would like more info.

I have a small, albeit somewhat successful wash, but in a tiny rural town. I don't think that would be a benefit in this situation. Thanks though.
I thought about TokeNotes, but dayummm, i gotta buy like 500 of those sumbiches & would wind up losing in the long run.

Approximately how much would those run me? Only 7k in this rural town... sounds intriguing, but we RARELY have to give a free wash. Especially since we are fulltime attended

Tokenotes are a Hamilton product. They're pretty affordable even in small quantities, but you need a Hamilton validator to use them. It's the MEI coupons that are so expensive, and they can only put cash value on the Goldline unless you use some "trickery" through a ladder relay or PLC.

You would only have to change out the token acceptor to an IDX X12 unit to take high security tokens. I don't know what the coded tokens cost, but they're not crazy expensive. You might even get by with some cheap bimetal tokens.
