I would buy another brand. I found the service from the company poor, the nozzle design poor and expensive to replace.

I have been buying the Air Shammee nozzles from Kleen-rite. They are currently $93.00, which doesn't seem over priced to me. I have 8 air dryers. (I made 7 of them myself and will be making 3 more this summer) Out of those 8 I have had one nozzle driven over and crushed and another the seams broke open for some reason.
I will agree that the Blast-o-dry is a better built/engineered product. My customers seems to prefer the Air Shammee nozzle over the Blast-o-dry.
I have also seen 3-4 other manufacturers producing air dryers. I think they were: Mosmatic, JE Adams, and Dultmier among others. If you are going to the ICA show I would think there would be multiple choices/designs.
If it were me I would go for a 2 motor design. I know the 7 I made are pushing more air than the 2" hose will allow (the relief valve never closes) with just the 2 motors. They are only drawing 24amps at start which I can get down to 21 amps using delay timers for stagger the motor start. This allows the use of a single 30 amp breaker instead of the 30 and 20 amp breakers required for the air shammee.

I installed three Blasto dry units in a 9 bay wash...lots of use...I put an hour meter on one of them and it paid for itself in less than 6 months...that includes the mosmatic boom and everything required to get them wired and running.
The other two get the same usage, so 6 months payback on all three of them.

In the last year I have purchased 9 of the Diskin Air Shammee's. Troy Diskin is very good to work with, and any time I had an issue, it was resolved quickly.
Motorcycle riders seem to like the air dryer more then any other customers. I see them being used, but don't have a feel for ROI since my Self Serve control software can't provide me with summary information on each function and the % of use.
I have the fan tip end on the nozzle, which seems to provide a better air pattern. We had issues with the hoses blowing off of the couplings, but Troy sent me out some rivets and we have not had an issue since. Where the hose hooks to the bottom of the boom we had to install hose clamps, as they kept coming detached.
All in all I think they compliment a self serve bay and help achieve my strategy which is to provide the customer with as many options to spend money as possible.

I have 8 air-shammees for a couple of years now. They do get used, but I would not say a lot. Mortorcycles love them. But since they are just air, they are very high margin and so don't take too long to pay for themselves. They don't get used in the winter up here in Canada. JE Adam's has a "heated" air dryer, but it doesn't actually have a heater, just the heat from the motor rises the output temp. That is not enough in the winter to have people use them.
I have not had any problems dealing with Diskin and they have told me that they have a new gun design coming in the nest six month or so. I'm looking forward to seeing it before I put the fan tip on the existing ones.
Would I do it again...yes, but I already have all the other options in my Self-Serve bays.
