don't get me wrong, i think a free people should be free to have guns...however, he needs to check some facts. 70-80% of people in the US are Christian? 90% of people believe in God? I don't think so...

That guy was great! Really on top of it ... including his "facts". Lets check 'em (as represented by current polls):
A recent ABC poll revealed that 86.5% of Americans identified themselves as Christians. Several other respected pollsters put the number in the high 70's to low-mid 80's.
And very broad based, national poll by FOX news put the number who believe in God at 92%.

USA Today is running a Quick Question on-line. IT simply asks, Does the 2nd Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms? It is frustrating to me that " we the people" are even asked to reiterate a known right that has been around for over 200 years!
