Hello - I am looking for some help with my AlamoBrand Carbon Filter, model number N2058 (attached a few pics). I have been unable to find the manual online. Does anyone have a copy?

Specifically, I need to understand:

  1. How to set the current time.
  2. When to regenerate the filter.
  3. After how many gallons of usage trigger regeneration.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

That's a fleck time based head, designed to backwash based on time set and the day pin. I am rusty but believe you adjust the time by pulling out on the knob and rotating. Don't sweat it too much if it's not working properly (as long as it isn't bypassing untreated water to the RO) I've got one that hasn't been plugged in in several years.

Russ should be a long in a day or two and can let you know much more.

Looks like a Fleck head.

The head simply "fluffs" the carbon in the tank by backwashing.

Set the head to Backwash twice a week (Tuesday and Friday nights at 2am) for 20 minutes or so....and you'll likely be good to go.

BTW, you should have a "cutout" which turns your RO OFF while in backflush mode.
