This is my first pic, lets see if it works.

Does anyone know where I can get an American Coin door for an old pin-lock IVS Power Vac. IVS is looking, but I haven't heard back.

I don't know if it is IVS or aftermarket of some kind

I give. I tried to follow all the instructions, but I'm of the old rotary phone mentality. I am emailing the pic to Jackson to see if he can add it to this thread.

I can't see it.
I don't see it either. Can anyone else besides Jackson see it.

I got an answer from IVS - it's not theirs, so my only hope is that someone will know where it comes from.

The problem is that I had a vac stolen and my spare vac (tough neighborhood when you have to keep a vac as a spare part) doesn't have the more secure American lock. I won't trust the pin lock by itself and would like it to match my other vacs.

Tough neighborhood

Reminds me of the remodel I did many years ago.

Customer calls me "Did your guys take my vacuums back to the shop?"
Me: "Uh, no. Why?"
He: "Two are gone."
Me: "Probably should call the cops"
He: "Well, we're opening in 10 days...better order 2 replacments."

Before I can place the order I get another call. Guy wants to know if I know anybody in the market for some really nice stainless steel coin-op vacs...like new.

Long story short...we set up a sting with the police. Customer gets his vacuums back...stupid thief spends some jail time.

Can you imagine??? The thief calls the supplier who sold the equipment!?!?

I can see it but can't help. Never seen the American lock set up that way.

I'm pretty sure that's a high-security setup used on older Doyle vacuums.
