Another new $5 bill??

Just got back from the bank and heard there was yet another new $5 bill on its way. The manager told me they were waiting for the new chip for their bill counter. They obviously already have the update for the "purple" $5 bill as they showed me being able to count the 3 different $5 bills currently circulating.

Anybody hear the same?:confused:

I don't think he's right as they start with 20s then 10s and then the 5s. I think we have a couple years till it starts again.

I did read somewhere that after the last bill redesign, the community of blind people were lobbying to have Braille added to the bills.

The US Mint doesn’t print currency, they make coins. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing are the ones who print the currency. http://www.bep.treas.gov/. The $100 bill is the next bill that’s going to be changed.
