Any thoughts on where to have the forum dinner?

Jackson and I touched on this earlier today, so I thought I would just start a thread and see what people thought. I was fine with Hash House a Go-Go last year, but that's no surprise since I suggested it to Jackson. It's central strip location and convenient monorail access probably made it pretty handy for some. The turnout was good at 20 or so. Anyone have any suggestions/desires for anyplace else?

I dont understand having this show on Thurs-Sat. at the start of the pollen season? Wouldnt Mon-Wed make more sense?

The Car Wash Show is probably small potatoes in relation to the whole LV convention machine. It's probably more like the convention center says, here's what's available, take it or leave it.

I’m flying out Friday night so I probably won’t be able to make it.
I will be looking for someone to have dinner with on Thursday.
It seems like a lot of people are not going this year. Do we have any kind of head count of forum members?
Bill P used to coordinate meetings on the show floor at designated times and locations. I may try to coordinate some meet ups this year. I’ll make a separate post later but, if you are going to the show and want to be on a text thread with some other forum members at the show send me a PM and I’ll put you on the list. I highly encourage any lurkers to join. I met a few long time lurkers last year and we had a great time.

I suggested the 27th to Jackson because the ICA often has a big event on the first night that may conflict. I'm probably overthinking that anyway. I really don't have a problem with either night if the 26th works better for most. That being said, I will be stag and would like to not be "Loser, party of one!". If anyone wants to grab lunch or dinner, I'm available. Last year, on arrival day several of us made plans to have a steak at Circus Circus steakhouse. Timing didn't work out for everyone and it ended up being just Soapy and me. Lets try again, maybe we can get a better turnout.
