Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum, or if General Discussion is the right forum. But curious if any one has ever switched their customers from one platform to the other, and how that went? I am looking at Everwash, Dencar and Hamilton right now, Everwash is the most economical option for me to get my foot in the door, but I spent some time on a Zoom call with the folks from Dencar recently, and they have some really cool stuff! However, it requires the purchase of their kiosk at a not so cheap price...that's a big risk and I am not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze. Hamilton is the same thing, very expensive to purchase their equipment vs. using what I have now and going with Everwash (I am already on Cryptopay).

I am just wondering if it is better to bite the bullet now and go with the company I think provides the best customer experience, or to go the cheaper route and see how things go. By the way, I live in a small town of about 15,000 and there are three car washes, the other two are using Everwash.

I have done this. I would say it sort of depends on the system you are currently using. It is definitely a lot of manual work and potential one on one contact with each customer in order to get them switched.

I would try and figure out a way to sell memberships on the new platform with the old one still running so you can transition people at a pace you are comfortable with.

+1 for Dencar if memberships are the route you are going (definitely not the cheapest option). Happy to answer any Dencar specifics.

Thanks for the reply AnalyticWash, Dencar is definitely at the top of my list, the price tag is scary though! I can only imagine how big of a pain it would be if I decided to switch platforms 3-5 years down the road, and I would probably lose some customers in the process.

Yes I have , and if I could have a redo I would purchase Touch4wash again and again. Easy install, customer perks, memberships, family plans, all of it. The support and customer service I have gotten from these folks is awesome. Hamilton is a great product and setup, but with a price I just couldn't justify for the return I was getting. Touch4wash paid for itself in a few months, I highly recommend it! I offered everyone a free month to transition, but really didn't need to. Nothing against Dencar, but there are more cost effective ways to achieve your goal.
