Anyone ever washed their soft cloth mitter in washing machine?

Just wondered if anyone has ever washed their cloth in a commercial washer. It seems more efficient to take down a row and wash them even on a delicate cycle.

Just curious.

I did this years ago i had black grease on them put them in the wash with some degreaser and soap and they cam out looking new. It was just a regular washing machine but worked great.

Did this before too when we had them... found it faster to just pressure wash them off. No real difference in end result IMO.

FWIW took over a neglected wash and the cloth was nasty. Osaked it in a drum with wheel cleaner overnight before washing.

Worked great. Pressure washing on the core didn't seem to work well because the cloth flopped around. taking it off and laying it on the floor and flipping it over was more labor intensive than just washing it in a washer.

I have washed them in place with the power washer with the cloth against a sheet of plywood or with one person holding them taught. I have also taken them down by the rack and tried washing them four at a time and flipping. The result was not great. The dirtiest cloth is the part that does not get agitated as much. Driving through my own tunnel and looking for the discoloration, I doubt the customer even notices. But for foot traffic or just for my own sense of clean and ship shape, I'd prefer they look blue again.
