Wanting to freshen up a location and was thinking about tiling the bay walls with stone end columns. Anyone have any input? I see several done that way around here.

There's one in Brenham that's done with floor tile. It was done 20 years old and he's never cleaned the walls. A lot of the dingyness to it is just how the tiles look, probably to hide dirty footprints.

I have one and don't recommend it. Its much harder to keep clean than extrutech. Stuff kinda soaks in. Stone columns would look cool though.

I have tile on my bays with brick end columns....I acid wash them every month (over kill yes) to keep them spotless, I think it looks a lot nicer vs. the plain brick. As far as extrutech it looks great I wouldnt trust my customers with it...maybe in the auto bay but thats tiled as well
