Skype is great, usually works really well. Customer service is zip, but there is a forum on their site with people that will/can help you.

I've had it for years, computer to computer is free, to be able to call landlines and cell phones in the US & CAN, for $36 a year. You can add the info to your profile

I've had it for years, very few issues.
One bit of advice: buy a good headset. Speakers + microphone works, but a headset with noise canceling makes a big difference in both comfort & call quality. Also, when there's a lot of activity on my network the call quality can drop a bit.

I use this at home, so my home phone rings when I get a Skype call. Can also make outgoing Skype from my home phone and do some toll saving long distance (call my skype via a local phone and dial out long distance via Skype).
