Our understanding is that the Coinco Vantage is more waterproof & is the main reason why we have about 10 of them. We have 3 MEI 2600 series also.
The ability to use prepaid paper token-coupons could turn out to be of value for business customers who prefer to not have their vehicles washed without some cash control. MEI required a much larger quantity if I remember right. You have to specifically order both for car wash version use ... not sure though.

We like the idea of more fives being used than ones ... for the long term especially ... if a dollar &/or 2 dollar coin becomes the dominant usage with a phasing out of the ones completely ... that would help with the long term wear & tear considerably. Wear & tear seems to be a non issue with the better coin mechs.
