I don't know if that's your issue or not, but I can't think of any downsides really to having a solenoid kill the air to the pump when not in use. A plus to using an air solenoid is that if one of your bay solenoids gets some trash in it or doesn't close 100% for whatever reason, you don't pump away an entire bucket of product.
Definitely give it a try. Can you show me which one you use ? Thx for the suggestion 👌🏼

I don't have anything to take the pressure off the Flojet while it's not running, and I don't have any trouble with them. I just have a good water separator on the compressor and drain it every day. If you do add an air solenoid to the Flojets, you should either add something like a tee with the smallest Hydrominder tip in it to let the pressure off, or use a 3-way solenoid with the normally open side just open to atmosphere.

FWIW, I'm planning to go back to Procons, mainly because I want to try delivering presoak and wax at 150 PSI.
