ICA is offering a free Car Wash 2013 app for smart phones that allows attendees to find information about the exhibitors who are at the show. It also allows exhibitors like us to upload hand-outs on our products to the app so attendees do not have to carry them. You can email a handout to your office computer by going to the app Dashboard, click on Exhibitors, click on the handout you want, and send. Another great thing on the app is you can always find out where you are on the show floor and locate the booth where you want to go. I encourage all attendees to download this app before you go to the show.

We will be exhibiting at the Car Wash Show in Las Vegas again this year in Booth # 3138. After entering the Exhibition Hall, go right as far as you can and take the aisle toward the rear of the hall. We are about half way down that aisle. We will be showing our new VendPro-iG5 vendor which is the most secure vendor we have ever designed and built. This design has been made in response to some customers who had troubles with vandalism on their new -iG4s. No one breeched the vendor or took anything, but the attempted vandalism made the vendor look unsightly. So we added bars across the window to add another layer of intimidation without making the vendor look unsightly. So far it is working.

The VendPro-iG5 32-selection is designed for installation in the vacuum area of a self-serve wash and specifically for installation in the free vacuum area of the new Express Exterior washes that are being built. The vendors we have sold to the EE washes in the past have usually been placed in an alcove or closet type room with a roll-down door for security when the wash closes. Unfortunately the roll-down doors are secured with padlocks that are not very robust, so the roll-down doors are breeched and the vendors vandalized. Any vendor that is placed in these “secure areas” usually has poor visibility and is too far away from the vacuum area to enjoy a high sales volume.

If everything works out for us, we will have an alarm system inside the vendor that will turn on the lights and trigger a siren to scare away the Hoodies at night after the wash is closed. You will hear more about this system in another post.

We are looking forward to seeing old customers and friends during the show, and creating new customers showing them our new VendPro-iG5. So come by and “kick the tires”.
