Are FLOJET pumps terrible?

I suspect moisture is the problem. The thread about the dryer nearly made my head explode though. It was way over my head. I did order the inline dryer. Maybe that will help. I'm curious about the procon though. Is it air operated as well? Does moisture not affect the procon?
I have a blue/white pump mounted on the wall right beside it. I wonder if I can just use that.

No, the pro con pump is driven by a motor. They are slao refered to as a carbonator pump. If a person was to switch from a flojet pump that was dead headed, they would need to add relays to isolate the different bays, and to start the motor for the pump.

He's using it for a tire cleaner application in an auto (if I'm not mistaken), so it just needs a relay to turn on the pump.

I would put an oil/water separator on the line before the drier as well.

I'm using it for a rain-arch type wax application in one IBA. I installed the solenoid to open the air supply to the pump instead of opening a wax valve. This relieves pressure off the pump. Also it removes the chance of getting debris stuck in the solenoid and leaking chemical out. It's been installed about 18 months in a very wet, humid equipment room so far with no issues- knock on wood....
