Any one using Arimitsu 516 pumps that are leaking oil? Awesome pump, performs excellant, super quiet, easy to work on, just have an oil leakage weakness.

I'v sold a few with no leakers so far. Where is the oil leaking from? The shaft seals are fairly easy to replace.

Looks as though the oil is finding its way out via each plunger rod from the case. Arimitsu has replaced the seals once themselves and also sent a short block. After 6 months the leaking repeats. Enough is leaking that over a period of sometime oil on the dipstick is below the Low point.

There could be a defect in the case or a scratch on one of the piston rods, or there could even have been a problem with one oil seal from the factory and one replaced was defective. If it's still under warranty, let them fix it again and make sure they know that it's a repeat problem so they fix it right.
