Ok GUYS. Looking for opinions. On. M5 the arm will rotate the wrong direction once in a while. It has done it on the first soap pass and other times it will rotate the wrong direction on rinse pass. at first I thought it was a error in the wash program but it has done this on multiple packages..So I’m thinking maybe a sensor??? What do you guys think

We think we have it fixed. The rotation hub the 3 sensors look for was extremely rusty. We wire brush the surfaces and ran it for a day then replaced all 3 sensors just to play safe. Have not had any more problems since. When it was rotating the wrong way we damaged a customers passenger electric controlled side mirror. This system was about 16 years old when purchased and we figured in the long run it wI’ll be better to replace all the sensors in this bay

In low voltage systems, on which the sensors run on either 12 - 24 V DC or AC, it is always a good idea to ground the shield of the shielded sensor cable.

Grounding helps in reducing interference especially when the control system is not located on the Gantry.

Glad that teh issue was resolved !
