B/F jammed

This could be coincidence but yesterday while my Belanger vector was washing a car, the left arm got a broken bolt and got bent. I looked at the camera and saw bent arm really shaky on HP. But it still ran fine and finished the wash. Today after I fixed the bent arm, I ran wash test and butterfly did not fold to the front or the back. It tried to fold but only a little bit then stopped (like there’s some kind of obstacle to prevent it). So I tried to jog butterfly manually and it popped up butterfly jammed and sometimes butterfly prox error right away and repeatedly. I’ve have check cable wire and the butterfly prox at the collar and they seem to look fine?. So now I can only think off the butterfly gearbox is bad (it’s really old).

Thanks in advance!

I would replace the cable and prox first in either order. The least expensive rout. I wouldn’t go by looks. Grab one of the arms and try to fold it manually. If you can move it freely definitely a sign of failing gearbox.
