Bad Cryptopay swipers

I just sent two swipers in to Cryptopay for service (button not working, sluggish performance) they charged $150 each for routine repair. Haven’t had the guts to tear into one myself.

Most likely the ones about five years old and older, before they added the analytics wires.

Just sent my 4 wire units in and they accepted and repaired.

How old?

I believe they were installed almost 6 years ago. When you call in to CryptoPay they have you read the number on the back to confirm if they will repair them or not.
