"Bad owner" wash pics

Just some random photos of poorly run washes I've encountered:

Used up (3 of 7 bays looked like this):

Hose clamp for extra scratches and cuts, wasted bend restrictor:

Presoak snot (Kleen-Rite's Purple Passion):

Not done by an electrician (The bare spade with the blue crimp is live 120v, and that's 22ga. wire tripled up to go to a 1/3 HP Procon motor):

Boom swivel (Or is it?):

Same boom:

Float valve leaking? Good thing there's a cooler top in the trash:

First time in 30 years I've seen someone put Teflon tape around an o-ring:

The cooler top float is actually a genius move. Sometime you have to MacGuyver something together in a pinch, too bad this was probably a permanent solution

The closest thing I've done was to put a handful of stainless nuts in an empty Coke bottle and use it as a Hydrominder float.

Bay still in service, been like this for years, owner doesn't understand why the wand is always getting broken:

I’ve run into a lot of those type car wash operators who bleed the car wash dry and then they can’t figure out why business has dropped off so much. The last one was using Dish washing soap from Dollar Tree. Place was always a mess, nothing really worked. They just don’t get it.
