Yes, same belt.

I get much better life out of the cog-type belts, and I often find them new on eBay for next to nothing and free shipping.

Can't edit post, wanted to add that you should search for BX44 to get the cog-type results

I've been getting Gates on eBay. I've seen some in use over 20 years old.

Your local auto parts store should have a B44 belt. If the chains don't have them, go to a mom and pop store. $15 bucks or so.

I did get one from a local store to get by, but it seems to be a tad short. I can't get the belt cover to go back on and it looks like I need to move the pump about another 3/4 inch, but I can't stretch it any further. It is a B44 belt.

Unless you can get a good quality brand from an auto parts store, they don't usually last long. None of the national chain stores here carry good belts. Dayco or Gates are fine, store brand suck (Duralast from AutoZone are so bad that I'd leave a bay down before I'd drive the 5 minutes down the road to get one).

I've gotten belts from a small town parts store that are meant for lawn tractors that will get a bay back up in an emergency but have only lasted a couple months.
