I need to buy a whole bunch of 1/4" polytube in different colors and was wondering where the best/cheapest place would be to buy from? Thanks.

I've had very good experience with Dultmeier's "Generic" Polyethylene

Great pricing, but for the 1/4" it only comes in coils of 1000'. I need six different colors and only about 250' of each color.

slash,
They also have John Guest PE in 500' lengths for about .10/ft...5% discount for 2 or more coils.

You could also check with a pneumatics/hydraulics distributor in your city, http://www.bwrogers.com/ for example...but I'd bet you'll pay closer to triple the price for cut lengths.

I get all my PE tubing from:

http://www.freshwatersystems.com/c-328-polyethylene-lldpe-tubing.aspx

It is John Guest and costs about .07 cents a foot when you buy the 500 ft rolls. Does that mean I win?!?!?! :p
:) You win! Btw, great prices at the website!

I was going to call the local companies just to compare, but completely expect it to be much higher. I would much rather have a ton of extra hose than pay more for less. I also need about 100' of general purpose 3/8" hose rated around 300 psi. What do you guys recommend?

FWIW at $77 a roll for 500' 3/8" it's $3 Cheaper than KR but if you can add it to a free freight order you probably come out ahead.

I wanted a color in addittion to what I had. Makes troubkle shooting a mess of lines in a trough easier.

Windtrax was $58.45 for 500 ft of 3/8" vs $76.94 for Fresh Water systems.
