so if I'm getting this correctly. You have both a pre-soak and a triple foam but they are coming out of the same low pressure foam nozzle?

my next question is do people use both the foaming pre soak and the triple foam? or do they just usually use one of them?

So you have both a triple foam and a foaming Pre-Soak as options at your wash?
both the triple foam and the Pre-Soak come out of the same foaming gun?

do people use both the pre-soak and triple foam or do they just use one of them?
i would assume the foaming pre-soak would be sufficient considering its foaming and people like spraying foam on their vehicles.

as for your foaming pre-soak did you have to buy a certain kit to make it foam or what process did you use to create it to make foam?

I use the gun for presoak, tire cleaner, soon to be a new spot free at low pressure
and rinse, soap, wax at high pressure on the same wall.
On the other wall I use a separate hogs hair brush for the foam brush and another gun for triple foam.

I'm confused. when you say gun is it a foaming gun? or regular weep gun?

would you be able to show me a picture of your setup?

I am interested in the "foaming Pre-soak" you were talking about that comes out of a foaming gun.

Kwoelke,

The Foaming Gun system can dispense any number of low pressure products.

Most of my customers have Tire Cleaner and Presoak on the foaming gun. One of my customers provides Tire Cleaner, Pre-Soak, Bug Cleaner, and Mag Chloride Cleaner from the foam gun.

In every case, the high pressure trigger gun dispenses only Soap, Rinse, Wax, and Spot Free Rinse.

You’ll eliminate all the check valves on the high pressure bay supply plumbing by converting to the LP foam gun system…a huge improvement (maintenance wise).

Now for the downside… If you’re in a cold climate the foaming gun system will require a freeze protection system. A weep system works but will use significant water. I use a control system that protects the foam gun with compressed air and winter formula windshield washer fluid. The controller delays product delivery for 3 seconds to assure the customer actually wants to use the product vs just passing through the switch selection. And, with freezing temperatures, it cycles the blow-out/washer fluid injection after each use.

Here’s a recent installation using modified Air Logic low pressure panels.

ah, understood! what did you modify on your air logic low pressure systems? I am currently looking into Erowhah with SS manifolds and hydrominders. I like that Etohaw has closed tanks protecting them from debris getting in. but want to see my options.

do you run a triple foam at your location? i'm thinking the Single foam Pre soak will basically give people the satisfaction of spraying a colored foam without me having to spend around 4k on a triple foam system.

I rewire the solenoid manifolds which are powered via a PLC.
The air solenoids on the PS panel provides air for all low pressure products...eliminating the need for air solenoids for all other LP gun products.
The PS air solenoids also provide the blowout for freeze protection.
But again, the systems are operated from a Programable Logic Controller.

After 25 years, I no longer own a car wash...I just repair, remodel, & service them.
After owning a tri-foam system, I determined that the only one making significant profit with it was my chemical supplier...so, I removed the system after about a 1-1/2 years.
