Is Blendco changing to different buckets? Some of our products are coming in the square 5 gallon pails.

AFAIK they've always come in the 5-gallon rectangular jug.

Yeah. I noticed the change about a year ago to the new buckets with the big threaded caps.

I hate the square jugs with the large cap, to hard to pour out the contents. The square jug must be less expensive than the round pail. I liked the round pail, pop off the lid and dump the whole pail fast.

I think the reason for the change was that the DOT, who regulates overland shipping, sail the pails did not meet newer standards, while the square ones did. Could be wrong though.

Thank you for your input guys. I have learned a lot from this forum. I just wanted to make sure we wasnt the only one getting a different type bucket. We have had a few concerns about our soap rep but i will definitely let my manager know this one is legit. I really hope we stay with blendco products but feel like a change is coming.
Thanks again,
J

Well good luck. I used to sell Blendco and found that most of their reps had a hard time hitting their butts with both hands at the same time. It is a complicated system and to make it work right you really needed to know how to set it up and calibtate it.
