Blower Angles Clockwise or Counter clockwise

I have a new Express Exterior in which I would like to get better drying. My current set up is an Arch with a Flash Dry, then a Blower arch with 5 (15hp) blowers on it. 2 of them are Elephant Ears, 1 (15hp) Centered in the middle, and 2(15hp) at the each end of the arch. My concern is that the 2 blowers on the ends are angled toward the vehicle and are both blowing water toward the vehicle. I was told that switching these two blowers would put the cone more towards the center of the car and blowing the water out towards the driver and passenger sides.

To me it seems like the 2 blowers on the Ends and the Elephant ears are all blowing the water toward the center of the vehicle, then I am left with 1 blower to try and clean up the middle.

I think it would make more sense to have 2 of the blowers side by side in the middle blowing the middle of the vehicle. The elephant ears would do the sides. I would leave the flash dry blower in the same position. That would leave one blower as backup.

Not sure I understand the description. Are the ones "At the ends" toward the corners angled inward so they blow the water toward the center of the car?

If so, I am guessing these are sset to perhaps hit the top corners of vans etc to do the top portion of the sides as well as top edges.

Everything will chnge depending on height of vehicle. If your elephant ears are tall enough and long enough to get the entire sides of a van, then I would try the 3 across the top configuration. But, the bottom line is only by trying it will you determine what you think best fits your situation.

Thanks guys, It appears that the problem was my drying agent. I did angle my elephant ears 12 degrees toward the entrance.

We've had a lot of success using 1 blower in the center of the car after rinse, followed by two in the center with the nozzles side by side, another single in the center, then two spaced further apart (gets all top surfaces to a satisfactory level of dryness) followed by a higher and a lower dryer on the wings at roughly a 45 degree angle to dry the sides. Good drying at 140 cph.
