I recently had a customer ask me about a boom for a pressure washer, but don't have any experience with them. This is at a body shop that is not open to the public. It would be mounted to the ceiling which is roughly 25' up. This will be hooking up to their CAM Spray Pressure Washer. Any recommendations for this would be greatly appreciated.

I sold 100s of these as standard equipment on new facilities and remodels. I’ve had them at my car wash for over 20 years. They survive use and abuse from the general public so, there’s that. They are reasonably priced and spare parts (if needed) are readily available.

It uses this inexpensive swivel

Or, even this with a street elbow from any hardware store.

Use that same swivel on both ends of the hose for user appreciation

I am not associated with Kleen-rite…I just use their easy-to-navigate online catalog for sharing the 411.

I'm surprised those hold up for you - I'd think it's a little too light-duty for a car wash with kids playing Tarzan on them.

I'd recommend replacing the hardware that holds the boom arm with stainless steel and using lots of anti-seize to keep it from rusting.

'CantBreak80' thank you for such a thorough reply, I will definitely look into that.

'MEP001', thank you for that suggestion.

I'll give what information I can to the customer and let them decide before purchasing.

Now that I have time to look more, when you say replace the hardware with Stainless Steel, could you explain this more please? I'm not sure exactly which part needs this upgrade. Thank you for your input.

IIRC there are two set screws that hold the boom rod to the center and they use (or used to use) steel set screws.
