Although I don't think we're near a bottom yet in Real estate prices in many bubble areas, I thought these links might be useful.

I have a cousin that represents one of these banks and he said they are discounting big on some parcels to clear their inventory.

If this is the bottom in our area we have a long way to go. Every listing in central AL I looked at was listed close to what they had sold for in the past 24 months. One that I have appraisaed in the past and my partner did the forclosure appraisal on is listed for 128,000. It sold a couple of years ago for 132,000. I now needs major work pool liner all short lived items etc. It seems the lenders aren't in any hurry to start making big discounts around here.
