Bought a used wash.

20210724_153330.jpg Started putting wall panels in the self-serve but now the tile looks so dingy above. I wonder if paint will hold up since it won't get wet as much up there.
 
Know a giy in OkC who painted up high. Lasted pretty good forna # of years.
Did you drill directly into the brick, or put wood over brick & go into wood? What type screws you use?
 
Paint has held up for me in pretty much the same position on the same block, about 5yr in. Looks a bit darker now but likely just needs a power wash

I screwed it directly to the tile/block with tapcons that they sent.
 
A latex exterior paint should stick pretty well to the tile as long as it's clean, and when it comes time to repaint it will scrape off easily.

I wouldn't do anything to it until you are ready to cover it with some thing like extrutech.

Nobody's really going to look up there anyway, except you. Spend some money on things that are going to make your money instead.
