Bubblizer,Tsunami,Wall of Foam,etc.

All,

I have been reading your posts pertaining to the new way to apply foam to the vehicles. I believe Mr. Weiss refers to it " its the sizzle not the steak". I believe in the WOW factor. So what is the consensus now that it's been in the field for a while. Is it worth the investment?

I give a great show with my foam shower heads, but I'm interested in the new wave of show! Whats the costs involved? Also is there an big increase in chemical cost as well?

Seem to get lots of comments on the Bubblizer. Most from the car waiting to enter seeing it on the car ahead. Stuff like "What's that guy getting?" I never get that much foam.

Currently at .05 per car for soap. Trying to get it down with a different product.

Have heard the Lava type archs are at .50 per car for wax or more.

Materials were about $450 for the trough, PVC, Blower motor, relay, vac hose etc. It was mounted to an existing arch.
I put the blower in the back room and used vac hose to carry the air to the trough. I ddin't like the idea of the motor sucking in the air loaded with moisture and soap residue from the tunnel. Perhaps after another year or two we will see if operators with blowers in the tunnel have issues.

Addittional costs were Flo Jet Hydrominfer Pumping station (I had materials on Hand.)

Electrician for running a power line in the backroom. . I was told it drew too many amps for the blower motor to run direct from the DRBs and Datatrax so the electrician ran a power line to a relay that was tripped by the controller. Used the same function as the Soap so no hookup cost there.
