Bug season is here.

We are having issues with bug removal. We treat with bug juice on our top two packages, yet customers want no bugs even on the cheaper packages. We don't feel there is enough dwell time for the bug juice to work effectively. Some area washes have gone as far as adding bug removal stations in their parking lots. Any ideas?

Without additional chemical application and dwell time along with an good high pressure blast it is almost impossible to remove bugs especially if they have been baked on or been there for a long time. Even with all that you will be lucky to remove all of them.

You don't say if you are advertising that those packages remove bugs. If you don't I think bug stations may be a good idea as a courtesy to your customers. If you do, I would change the menu.

Add people for scrubbing for the few weeks they're around. Upcharge, and deal with the few complaints and move on. The short bit of pain is worth re-calibrating your customers.
