Carolina Pride Air Dryer Motor HELP

Hey all,

I have the Carolina pride air dryers at my SS locations, and my motors are going bad. I know they went out of business, but has anyone been able to replace the motors with any other brand? Hoping to not have to install 4 new air dryers, due to this.

looking for a T-DRY model, 120 voltage, 1 phase, 35amp motor.

thanks!

Probably can still get motors from NCS - if not, as Waxman said, the motors are probably not proprietary and should have cross to industry standard motors.

That does not sound right. Pictures please.:)

The motors used in the Turbo Dry III were a 4HP FPZ 3 phase motor. Here are the specs:

Turbo Dry III
3.1. Motor Specifications
60Hz 3PH
4HP 3520rpm
208-230V 10.9-11.1A Delta
460V 5.5A Y

Unfortunately, the TurboDry is not longer available, but you might be able to reach FPZ for a replacement motor.

That NCS Part # doesn't come up in the NCS portal, in the pic he shared it looks to be a ordinary 120v bypass motor.

Sorry it's not in the Portal, however it may still be ordered. Just call 844-627-9274. Select option 7, then option option 2 for the Ryko parts team, and they can get it ordered for you.
