I have a Cat 3535, & checked the danfoss valves. Those seemed to be good. Hoses are not collapsed. I'm unsure where pump unloader is.

First have you checked the valves and baskets in the Head of pump like me and MEP have suggested very common with these with age on these pumps takes 10mins with right size wrench

Yes it is should be 3 inlet valves and 3 outlet valves go to cats website for a pump breakdown sheet would be helpful to you since you have not done one before. When I get to my wash this afternoon I could tell you what size big wrench you need to buy to make life easier, if your a small guy you will need a cheater pipe also. I would also drain the rinse tank before attempting this or you will be soaked when you take the first one off and kill power to pump stand. Take pictures and pay attention check for the baskets cracked or weak springs. I replaced the springs and baskets and o rings also only 3 come in the kit you need to order 6 total. But you need to inspect first before throwing parts at it. I just hope you don't have any other problem valves check valves ect. How old is the cat pump by the way.

I'm going to guess this Cat pump is about 13 years old...? But that is a guess. I bought this system used. Guy told me it was about 7 years old. However, when I got it, I figured out it was 12 years old, NOT 7!!! So, it may be hard for me to trust anything he says.

Chattering on startup that goes away is due either to air backing up into the pump plumbing or inadequate water supply to the pump.

MEP, so what would I check, for this particular problem?
Cat 3535, on my Laserwash 4000, is what I got.

Can you enable individual functions? Run a function as long as it would run during a wash cycle then run the high-pressure and see if it pulsates.

Mep001 I could do so on my Laser. All this guy has to do is Go into the control panel programming & press 63556 enter then go to each output card and enable each function one at a time and turn the HP pump on also. Pretty much individualize each function he might be better off calling a local distributor from the way it sounds. Mep001 that's a good idea though that way he could find out which Danfoss valve, injector leak, check valve ect... He told me he checked them all....Or it's the valves in the pump are weak. It's got to be one of those three things. Or weak incoming water to building not refilling rinse tank fast enough something of that nature.

I's probably not a weak supply to the stand, or he'd be running out of water and losing pressure during the high cycle, not starting up with weak pressure and clattering.
