Cat CP2120W pumps advice / help

I have a 3 bay SS w/ those Cat pumps. My middle bay has very low pressure, & has had for awhile. I have a smaller diameter hose running from pump to boom on bay 2. Bays 1 & 3 run at 1100 psi, bay 2 is 850psi. Would that be due in main part, because of the smaller hose?

Questions 2: my hoses from pumpstand to bays are hydraulic hoses. Does anyone else just use the regular Blue hp hose, from pump to booms (like what I have in my booms)? If so, do they last as long?

Question 3: What psi do you run your cat CP2120s on? 1100psi seems a lil wimpy...

Question 4: How much should I expect to pay for about 30' of good Blue hose vs. the same for a hydraulic style hose?

Black Neptune 3000 is about $1.10 a foot from Kleen-Rite and should last at least 10 years.

Odds are you have one bay with single-braid hose and the rest double-braid which just looks bigger but is the same ID. Regardless, if you're seeing lower pressure at the pump, it's not the hose to the bay.

I could only find the Black Neptune 4000psi. It's only $1.27. Guess that would suffice?
If it's not the smaller (1/4") hose, would it be seals, regulator, or what?

Regulator more than likely or worn nozzle

Could be regulator, tip, worn high-pressure seals, bad low-pressure seals allowing pump to draw air, valve o-rings, trash in more than one valve, defective valve, restriction to inlet flow, leak allowing air to enter pump, one or more bad check valves either upstream or downstream.

There is no pulsating, so wouldn't that rule out most of those? Tip is rather new, doesn't look worn at all.
What's difference between hp & lp seals?
