Cat pump valve orings

Funny, I was just talking to someone who bragged how he only buys used tires from some big outlet in Dallas.

That's a bit of an inside joke between cfcw and me. We shared a hotel room for the ICA convention last month. The hotel screwed up and charged him for all of it. We were texting back and forth, including pictures of our CC bills. I had bought some "new take-off" tires from a company called bestusedtires.com. He saw that on my statement and busted my chops about being so cheap for buying used tires. When I remembered that he had started this thread I felt I should give him a bit of what he dished out.

I hope your discounted O-rings work out for you. What's next, used tires for your truck? :D

Why didn't I think of that? I've got to save where I can- car payment is coming due next week.

Well, that 16.3mm OD o ring is one size too big- another $3 down the drain! Anyone wanna buy a value pack of 99 16.3 mmOD O rings? I'll give you guys a 10% discount.:)

Seriously- I know most of you guys don't care, but I felt I needed to correct the info in this thread. That way, when one of you tightwads want to buy a pack in a few years, it will not steer you wrong. The correct size is going to have around a 15.3mm OD and a 1.6mm cross section. I will try to find that size at zoro and put them in my cart.

Don't worry I support you.... I just think you should have ordered 3-4 sizes all at the same time. :)

Firestone did just comp my wife's tires again. I assume those big o-rings are cheap because they sure do not last long.
