Ok, Merry Christmas first. Put the ceramic on my auto yesterday. Don’t think I have ever been impressed with a wax as this. Washed my Jeep one time and the darn thing sparkles. Not just shines, but sparkles. Have it on my top two washes. Try it if you haven’t.

I've been very curious about this for awhile. We're getting ready to put in a new Razor. Is your machine touchless or brush? Did you raise your prices for the Ceramic? We're currently using a Carnauba on our top wash in our Profile. Had been wondering about changing to a ceramic, but just don't know enough about it.

I have a hybrid automatic and put it on my top washes for both. Just did it the other day and have not thought how to market it. Try it. You’ll like it. Customers recognize the term.

Thanx. I just watched a Simonize video of it being applied in what looks like a touchless manner on a conveyor. Will look into this more.

The wash I just purchased was using “Blair “ Ceramics. This Is a high volume wash w 2 mark vii s. One is a combo unit the other is straight friction. Anyway He was using the ceramic on both the touchless and friction and I’ve never seen cars coming out looking so shiny. I was told Blair is top of the line. At $500 a 5 gallon pail I don’t know how much longer I want to stay using this brand. If any of you are using a ceramic you like that you‘re happy with that Doesn’t beat ya over the head I’d love to hear. Merry Christmas!!

I'm working with someone to change everything over to Simoniz so we can market by brand. They have a ceramic sealant which I'll put only on the top wash in place of "Shinetecs." I'm probably going to drop one package to have only three and let the premium wash upsell itself.

Are any of you changing your pricing for this? I'm currently paying $213.00/5 gal. for Carnauba Lather (ChemQuest) in our top wash, which is currently at $13.00. We're in South Texas, where things are quite a bit lower priced than what I've seen elsewhere. Have now been talking to my distributor about Ceramic. He told me his ceramics just came in and he's using them in his personal washes and said they're awesome. Will be talking to him about this after the weekend.

I’m using the Simoniz Ceramic Sealant and it is the single most impressive product I have ever seen. Truly looks as if the cars were hand waxed and finished.

I was thinking about using it in the self serve bays But I want it to be exclusive to my automatic wash.

Traveler17, what is your avg cost per car? What is their recommended usage per car?

Sorry but not sure yet. I just closed on this place recently and previous owner wasn’t involved in the breakdown other than total cost per car for all chems. I’m waiting on rep to come out after the first of the year to go through everything w me. I’ll let ya know when I find out.

Does any one use it thru the wand gun in the bays?
I’m not, but with products like this you have to be very careful with the dilution in a ss. Customers can really take their time with it and use a lot of your most expensive chemical - and then it is not really cost effective for you. I don’t ever believe in watering down products to save a buck - I want them to work and be extremely effective, but if people decide to spend 3 minutes on your ceramic cycle, you could be going through lots of product. It is not high foaming and rinses very easily, so you won’t get extra rinse time out of it. Probably a very fine line for dialing it in just right in a ss.

The second and third testimonial on this blog are using it in a ss.

Washnshine thanks.
I had not thought about using it at 40-70 lbs. pressure.
I was concerned with the cost using it at high pressure.

I have tried 3 different ceramic brands and they have all been very impressive! My customers love it! It's a $2 add on for any wash and I have it in both my touchless and soft touch bays. Here is a clip I did for a FB ad. It's my vehicle, a 2019 that has never been hand washed.
