A concrete saw makes for a nice install, done it many times. A few times I had to have a picture frame made out of stainless steel sheet steel to fill in the gap around the changer when the hole was larger than the face plate of the changer.Yeah the only reason I don't do that is the sizes are different dimensions
I'd still replace the Rowe with a Hamilton, they are a much better changer. We've replaced a lot of Rowe and older changers where we had to cut the hole bigger or add a frame around the new changer to fill in the gap, it's no big deal. The Hamilton is smaller insert no cutting needed just would need rebar in new slump stone. A used faceplate sounds a lot easier
I recently replaced a beat-to-death BC-1400 with a Standard MC400RL-SLIM for a client.
They're quite pleased with it...and so am I...my frequent service calls for this site have been dramatically reduced.
C’mon guys. The man is looking for a used faceplate.
I’ve got my feelers out trying to locate a used face plate for the guy, I did find a complete Rowe BC-1400 changer but they want top dollar for it. We are just giving him options for him to explorer. I don’t think you should do a concession trailer or a McDonald’s, maybe a Starbuck’s franchise.C’mon guys. The man is looking for a used faceplate. I’m guessing he’s not looking to spend more than a hundred bucks, and you guys are telling him to spend thousands because you don’t like his brand of changer. I’m thinking of buying a concession trailer. Are you going to try to convince me to build a McDonald’s instead?
Nope, never noticed that before.(You know how these threads go off the rails, right?)![]()
Build a Dairy Queen. I likes me some steak fingers and a choco-dipped strawberry Blizzard.I’m thinking of buying a concession trailer. Are you going to try to convince me to build a McDonald’s instead?
