I need to change the price to start my manual bays and I have a d&s pump stand that has what appears to be a controller and each meter box has a timer. One meter box has a Dixmor and the other is some sort of d&s timer. My question is do I change it on both the meter box timer and the pump stand controller?

Change the time on the timers out on in the bay. I don’t know what kind of controller you’d have in your pump stand, it’s probably a motor starter. Are you also asking how to program your timers? I haven’t seen one of those clear case D&S timer in over 10 years. You should replace your timers with a Dixmor LED-7 timer.

I know how to set the dixmor and think I can figure out the d&s timer. My wildcard is the unit in the pump stand controller.

Can you post a picture of this controller on your pump stand?

My original RYKO self service equipment had the timers on the pump bench but have since been changed out to have the timer in the bays. I think that might be the same case with your pump bench.

If you have Led 7's out in the bays, you don't need that At411 in the control room....The timed load output on the timer in conjunction with Soap, Rinse, Wax funtions on the switch is all you need to power up the HP pump motor contactor.....The setup you have doesn't make sense?

I wouldn’t call an AT-411 Timer a controller, it’s a Timer. Like what 2Biz has said it makes no sense why you’d have a Dixmor timer out in the bay and a AT-411 Timer in the equipment room unless the AT-411 timer has been disabled and is no longer being used. Try reprogramming your Dixmor timer and see what happens. It looks like the AT-411 timer is set to start on 4 coins with 20 seconds per coin. What is your current start up price and time per coin?

Thanks everyone for your input. The price to start now is 1.00 and each additional coin is 35 seconds. Kind of odd but that's what it is.

How much time do they get now on start up? What price are looking at going to?

First you need to determine how much time to start. Then decide on the price. For instance, if your start time is 4 minutes @ $2.00....4 minutes is 240 seconds divided by 8 quarters equals 30 seconds per quarter....Use that equation for what ever you want to set it at.

Your scenario for $1.50 start @ 35 seconds per quarter would give them 210 seconds (3.5 minutes)....The amount of quarters and time per quarter sets you how much time they get....You can't set what you want for all three values....

Makes sense, if like to have 1.50 to start and 30 seconds for each additional coin so that should work out.

That will give the customer 180 seconds or 3 minutes start time with 30 seconds added for each additional quarter.
