I've done it twice. I did it the hard way because I am ham-fisted and knew I would screw up that decal if I tried to do it quickly. I removed the
door from the unit so I could lay it flat inside the equipment room and not worry about the wind. I removed all hardware off the
door. I removed the decal as best as I could with a heat gun, then used aerosol paint stripper to clean the surface to bare metal. The
door has an angle in it and it can be a bit challenging to get it just right. I use water with just a drop of dishwashing detergent to apply the decal. But the decal is thick which makes the application easier. I'd say the job looked almost as good as factory. The total job took me probably three hours, with probably most of that time spent getting the glue off the
door.
