This was very disturbing- on our headline news last night in Tampa-

A mother uses a high pressure self-service bay wand as punishment for a three year old girl.

Anyone had experience with someone hurting themselves with a stream coming from a pressure wand? At what PSI would the stream cut or damage skin? Seems to me it could easily take out an eye.

1000 PSI hurts, a lot. It won't do a lot of damage to the skin right away, but I can't say the same for a 3-year old girl.

We run 1200 PSI as shown in the video, and if I pass that quickly over my forearm at close range it'll remove enough skin that it will immediately bleed. If the child was really hit with high pressure at close range, her face and legs will be covered with scabs.

I once blasted a hole in my fingertip down to bone with one quick blast from 1800 PSI.

About ten years ago a female in flipflops was caught on my old camera system self inflecting her foot. This thing (female) was a left over from Hate Ashbury in San Fran. in the sixties, a LSD doooper. She clearly put the tip to her foot and pulled the trigger. A photo closeup of her foot injury showed rings on her toes. This was a ploy to sue me and she did. All she got was a seriously infected foot. There out there folks and if you do enough business over a long enough time they will find you. Happy trails jjw
