My preppers, cause it's always been done this way & i can't switch it, prep cars before they go into the bay, right in front of the paystation. Well, the road film, water spots, soap scum etc, is always present on the vertical LED sign & front of GoldLine.

Does anybody have any good cleaning method for the LED sogn & paystation?

I looked back & couldn't find any old posts for this...

Blue Magic metal polish on the plastic. I clean the lens of the big Dixmor timers a couple times a year. I also used it on the window of the big timer on the shampoo vac - it was so bad you could barely read it, now it's almost perfectly clear. That took about five minutes.

I'll get some & try it.
I never would've thought Metal Polish for the plastic surface on the 6' LED tv type screen nor paystation.
Hope it works...

It does work, it's such a fine polish you can use it on paint.

I use armorall on my stainless, lexan, etc. It seems to work great for me and it's fast and easy and makes the surface look good and it lasts.

WTH?!! What AA product do you use on Stainless Steel? I'm amazed there's possibly a product for SS & Lexan...

The film/soap scum will respond best to a low ph wall cleaner on surfaces that can tolerate it. UV damage to clear plastic panels can be polished off as MEP does. To keep things around the wash looking new I use meguiars M40 on wands, hoses, decals, pretty much anything that will absorb it. I just spritz it on and wipe with a towel dampened with it. I really like, it has some cleaning properties and I think it works better than armor all. . Kleen rite sells it.

The problem is that any cleaner will wick behind a panel, such as a faceplate on a Goldline, some of which will stain or discolor the decal applied to the backside. The protectant you use is definitely a good plan to keep them clean.
