Time to change the material on my wraps again. Have always ran cloth but the last cloth seemed to be louder than normal on the tall wrap around when they touch the car. I have heard that foam is much quieter. Looking for some feedback on changing cloth ply? Or changing to foam? Thanks in advance

Have tried foam on top section of wrap. Not much quieter if at all. I was having antenna issue and this stopped it. Foam seems to sty looking cleaner longer. I don't think it cleans as well.

You need to use a soap that provides good lubricity and not excessive foam. The problem with too much foam is that it will not allow the foam material to make good contact with the surface which can affect cleaning as Earl suggests. The best use for cleaning is cloth and foam for polishes and waxes because it spreads the product evenly on the surface and does not have to clean.

Had cloth with a bucket full of license plates now have foam with 1-2 plates. Always a cloth guy but foam has my vote now
