An operator I know was complaining about finding his coin boxes open in the mornings. These are the typical ones you see at a self serve that have the T handle with a Medeco lock. I suggested he replace the Medecos to solve this, and he did. Still found them open in the mornings however. So he actually caught someone breaking into then. The local kids somehow learned that if you just kick the handles with your foot, after 20 or so tries, the handle just pops out and voila, youre in. Anyone else seen this? If so, how did you stop it? These are the same boxes you see all over the country.
