For the cost of a set of new bushings for a 7-bay Coleman SS I can buy a small machinist lathe and make new ones out of UHMW-PP that will last almost forever. Thoughts?
Every Coleman wash I've seen the booms start to get really stiff after about ten years. Whatever the bushing material is that they use is so hard it wears into the spindle, so they get stiffer and start to squeal if you let them go.
