I am looking at purchasing several Coleman Combo vacs. The units were in a wash with the swipe card system. I will not be using that. Are the keypads something that you can just disable or do I need to rewire the insides? Any help with anyone on this would be great, I have called Coleman a few times and have yet to receive a return call. I have one or their shampoo vacs now and aside from the fact that the shampoo hose never seems to last more then 1 1/2 years and costs a fortune to replace I like the unit. I am getting a great deal on these units but just want to be sure that they are usable without the swipe system installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you saying there is no bill or coin acceptor, or is there that plus the keypad?

There is a coin acceptor. But my vac has two buttons to choose between vac or shampoo. These have just the coin acceptor and the keypad?
Can't help you. I thought keypad units alos had selector buttons for the Vac or Shampoo.

I have these exact units. Other than being confusing to the customer the keypads (if functioning correctly) should work without the swipe N clean. They will need to programmed correctly and will need to have the correct B&C timer. If I had to do all over again I would not buy these units. But if they are cheap enough you can retrofit the doors with your own timer (Dixmor) and switches. If you need programming instructions PM me and I will get them to you.

I just bought the JC car wash and come with two Coleman Combo vacs. I disable the swipe card system and the Combo work fine with the coin acceptor but confused the comtomers. So I order the new labels with two push button switch. After I replaced the new labels and switches, I able to removed the keypad but I still need the circuit board to give me the beep sound after accepted the coin. I was told that I can use it without the circuit board but I have not figure it out yet.
