Common Razor issues after 40,000 ish washes

For a WW Razor that has surpassed 40,000 washes, it's advisable to replace several key components to ensure optimal performance. Consider replacing the pump, heating element, spray nozzles, hoses, filters, control board, and seals/gaskets. By addressing all these parts at once, you can save on trip charges and minimize downtime, keeping your equipment running smoothly.

As long as you do the ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM preventative maintenance (conveniently shown in the service reminders menu) you shouldn’t have too many issues.
Beyond that there is a very detailed maintenance section in the manual. It goes into detail on what services and checks you should be doing from the “service reminders” menu. The area that is often missed/skipped is the annual maintenance that recommends replacing the solenoids and injectors yearly. I only replace my injectors as needed and try to rebuild the solenoids once every year or two.
The high pressure hose in the echain is difficult to inspect. I only replace it when it blows a hole on a busy Saturday afternoon when it is the most inconvenient time for me.
I run a “dry wash” from time to time to listen for any weird sound coming from motors/gearboxes. Once they start making noise you know you are on borrowed time. Those motors/gearboxes could still work for another 6-8 months while making noise. You just never know when it’s going to stop working.

Speaking of solenoid valves .We could save some money if we could get rebuild kits for the dema 463ps valves

My newer Razor EDGE machines have Dema valves. My older Razor 3 machines had Danfoss valves that were difficult and expensive (comparatively) to rebuild. I bit the bullet and have been changing to Demas on those older Razors. The Dema diaphragm’s are cheap and take about 2 minutes to replace. I think they are less than $2 each.

Where do you guys buy the 1" x 211.5" MNPT hp hose for the E-chain? WW sells it for $741 & Kleen-Rite has it for $212!!!

WAIT!!!!….Do you need the 1”x211.5 or 3/4”x211.5? The 3/4” hose is used in Razor3, Razor EDGE and others. I think the 1” hose is for a double barrel.
The added expense on the hose directly from WW seems to be because it includes a “leak protection bag”. That’s a cloth covering. I used to call those “anti-chaff wrap”.

We get our hoses from our local Carquest. They actually are able to cut and crimp to our exact needs, and can get them same day.
